D.I.Y: Mom's Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies (Ramadan Special)

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

Ramadan mubarak!!!!~ヾ(´ー`)ノ。・:*:・゚'★,。・:*:・゚'☆ Today as a special I'll share my mommy's chocolate chip cookie recipe. It's a big batch, super simple, and very yummmmy! Every time I've made these they have turned out perfect. The big batch makes this recipe especially perfect for ramadan and sharing! Sure beats buying a pack at the grocery store. Nothing better than mom's homemade cookies.

Ingredients:
  • 1cup butter
  • 1cup shortening
  • 1cup white sugar
  • 1cup brown sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 2tsp of vanilla
  • 3 1/2cups flour
  • 2tsp baking soda
  • 1/4tsp salt
  • 12oz chocolate chips (I use a mix of choco chunks and white chips. I just throw them in without measuring lol)

Directions
:
  • Heat oven at 350
  • Blend on low speed first 6 ingredients together in a large mixing bowl. In a separate bowl sift the last 3 ingredients and then add them to the blended ingredients (continue to sift). Stir in the chocolate chips
  • Drop by tsp onto a cookie sheet and bake for 12-15 minutes

I hope some of you use this recipe and enjoy it! It's very useful for large sums of people/family. Please let me know if you did ~ and tell me how it turned out ~~-v(= ̄▽ ̄) Have a blessed ramadan and may Allah accept your fasts and prayers this month.
