D.I.Y: T-Shirt Pillow

السلام عليكم و رحمة الله و بركاته

This creation actually came to me in a dream. It's one of few things that have happened in my life that really freaks me out. I  had a dream about t-shirt pillows. I was in a shop that had them. Just an old t-shirt as a pillow case. I woke up right after seeing them in my dream and was literally confused out of my mind O_O; I am not that creative. I just had a lot of old t-shirts from my teen years that I am emotionally attached to and really don't want to throw away. I also have a lot of coach pillows that are a little dirty. Perhaps this is how the idea came up in my sub-conscious? I've never seen such a thing before either. I can do things artistically but I have no imagination so for this to happen was a huge deal. Alhamdulillah it was a blessing from Allah. Since Islam I have become more original and devoted to my art. So now I'm going to share my artistic blessing with you~

The T-Shirt Pillow
  1.  Get your desired t-shirt and an old pillow
  2. Slip the t-shirt over the pillow like a pillow case
  3. Fold sleeves and side over. Stitch or leave in place
  4. Voila. Place on your coach and bed. Now you have a new, personalized, original pillow!

I hope you all enjoy this D.I.Y and try it yourself! Please let me know if you made one and show me~

That's such a cool idea mashaAllah! I would love to try this with old t-shirts that are still in good condition and old pillows that need a fashionable update :)

My daughter has been making lots of these lately, they look great in a kids room and can really brighten it up! Although she is hand stitching hers so it may take a while longer....
